Big Bang Board Games Now On iPhone/iPod touch

Want to play classic games on your iPhone or iPod touch? Look no further than Freeverse's Big Bang Board Games. This set of games include Chess, Backgammon, Checkers, Mancala, Reversi, 4-In-A-Row, and Tic-Tac-Toe. The artwork and gameplay is taken directly from the Mac version of the game, and Chess features a portrait (3D) and landscape (2D) mode.

The only drawback of this set is that each game only allows one-player mode. It would be nice to have a two-player option, for those situations where you've got some time to kill and want to take in a quick game with a friend.

Big Bang Board Games used to be available only for Mac and Windows computers. Now like its desktop counterpart, the iPhone version features a full 3D environment, different piece sets, landscape and portrait mode, auto-saving, unlimited undo and animated talking opponents.

Big Bang Board Games is available in the App Store for $7.99.
