WSOB Welcomes Nordic Open as Part of Tour

The World Series of Backgammon (WSOB) has announced that the Nordic Open (which celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year) is now part of the WSOB Tour. This is the first time the Nordic Open has joined the WSOB Tour and we are expecting it to be better than ever. This means that you can win a fortune by participating in the tournament plus the chance at becoming a backgammon star and qualifying for the 16 player shootout in Cannes this July. The prize money in Cannes will be an amazing 160.000 euro!

The tournament will again be played in the wonderful surroundings of Hotel Marienlyst in Elsinore (Helsingør). At Marienlyst, you can relax and play backgammon while taking in the scenic sea view. How often do you experience that at a backgammon tournament? Weather permitting, you can even see as far as the Swedish Coast! Elsinore is 50 kilometres north of Copenhagen and there are train connections running direct from Copenhagen Airport.
