TrueMoneyGames named official sponsor for the 2009 EBGT Portugal

TrueMoneyGames has announced it will be official sponsor of the Portuguese Open running May 12-27, 2009 in the prestigious casino Estoril. The European Backgammon Tour EBGT-Season III will have several stops and so far the confirmed ones are: Portugal, Georgia, France and Italy.

"We will have fantastic warm weather in Estoril at that time, so it will be an additional incentive for players," says Tournament Director Chiva Tafazzoli.

In 2007, the overall winner of the EBGT was crowned "European Master", in Estoril, and cashed a prize of 10,000 €uro and the "wandering prize", the prestigious Golden Cube (a custom made jewel masterpiece, made of 14 carat gold and 112 diamonds).

Further details on the format of the tournament is expected to be released shortly.

TrueMoneyGames as the official sponsor for TMG Portugese Open, will hold EXCLUSIVE online qualifiers. No other site will offer qualifiers for this particular event. As TMG's Marketing Manager states: "Our brand is growing and therefore we are committed in providing our players the most professional backgammon experience. This is not only with our software, but trying to amalgamate online and offline with an event of the prestige of the EBGT. There will be several VIP packages to TMG Portugese Open provided to the top winners of the Qualifier Event. We expect a big participation from all of TMG's current backgammon players and from other new players".
