WBF Turkey Edirne: Ahmet Nar Victorious

The sixth step of the WBF Turkey Traditional Backgammon Tour was the First Edirne Backgammon Championship. The championship was held on November 8-9 and attended by 57 players from around Turkey.

The two day challenge took a total of 19 hours and Ahmet Nar, who was the the leader after day 1 become the first ever Traditional Edirne Backgammon Champion. In the final match, Nar was up against one of Turkey's best players, Kemal Aksu, and after 75 minutes, Nar won with a score of 10-3.

Other exciting activities during the Chamipionship included "Arena", "Consultant Doubles" and "Women Special".
