WBF Turkey Begins Use of BEZMA System2007-12-22
Andy James
The BEZMA system is now being used by the WBF-Turkey Istanbul at the Modern Backgammon League as of December 1st, 2007. The BEZMA system was first introduced early this year by Ukrainian inventor and fellow backgammon enthusiast, Dr. Jakob Garal. This high tech system perceives actual moves on the board through its light sensitive sensors, and transfers the information into the PC via Bluetooth connection. All you have to do is just enter the dices rolled. It automatically warns players when there are wrong or badly timed moves.
With the help of installed GNU analyses software, it interprets the whole game move by move, and reports the accuracy of the moves of the players as well as their luck ratio after the game. Today, it is being used at six different locations around Europe and America. Most recently it has now been introduced to our community through the WBF Turkey. The BEZMA system will continue to be promoted in weekly meetings as it is already giving players the benefit of analyzing and improving their game.
