WBF Turkey Backgammon League: Quarter Finalists Named

The WBF Turkey Modern Backgammon Leagues saw 372 players compete in 6 exciting seasons through out 2007. Out of these 372, a total of 82 players made it to the 2007 WBF Turkey Modern Backgammon Championships. After some intense backgammon, the final top eight quarter finalists are named.

The WBF Turkey Modern Backgammon Champion will receive sponsorship into the 2008 Europe Modern Backgammon Championship held between May 14-18 in Velden, Austria. Included in this prize package is buy-in to the Main Event, plus expenses for travel and accommodation.

There were initially 43 players from Istanbul, 12 from Bodrum, 2 from Ankara, 4 from Kdz. Eregli and 2 from Izmir. Of the final 8 players, 4 of them are from Istanbul, 3 from Kdz. Eregli and 1 from Bodrum.
